This Privacy Policy describes how Samity ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile application and web services. This app is designed for Cooperative Societies to manage their financial records securely.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our administrative management services, we collection minimal information strictly for business functionality:

• Account Credentials: Username, Phone Number, and Encrypted Password required for secure login.
• Administrative Data: Society membership records, monthly fees, fund advance balances, and asset shares. This data is entered by authorized administrators.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data solely for the following business purposes:

• Providing the core management service (tracking fund advances, fees, and assets).
• Generating automated financial statements and reports.
• Communication via SMS/Email for dues reminders.

3. Software License and Hosting Infrastructure

This software is provided under a strict Right-To-Use License. The purchasing Cooperative Society is permitted to USE the software for their internal operations only. You do not own the intellectual property, nor are you permitted to resell, distribute, copy, or claim ownership of the source code. Furthermore, the Society is required to provide their own web hosting and domain name.

• Data Control: 100% of the financial data and member records reside exclusively on the Society’s own separate hosting servers.
• Liability & Downtime: We (the developers) do not have access to, nor do we store, any of your Society's private data on personal centralized servers. The Society's administrators are entirely responsible for their own data backups, server maintenance, and hosting renewals. If the Society fails to renew their independent hosting plan, we bear no responsibility for service interruption or data loss.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or trade your data. Because this is a self-hosted solution, your data is private and restricted entirely to the specific Cooperative Society organization running the server.

5. Data Protection

We implement robust security measures, including SSL encryption and secure server environments, to ensure your sensitive administrative information is protected against unauthorized access.

6. Data Erasure

Users or organizations may request the deletion of their accounts and associated data at any time by contacting us through the official support email below.
